Beta Beta - Spring 2018

Coming in to college, I had trouble making new friends. I took a chance with the sisters of aKDPhi and came out to their Back to School Club Party. Ever since that night, all of my sisters have given me strength, support, and unconditional love.

Why aKDPhi?

Growing up without any sisters, I always desired having a sister figure in my life. My family, Patenia-Ngo, has allowed me to be myself while teaching me valuable life lessons. My line sisters have been by my side and have continuously pushed me to be my best.

Our chapter as a whole has never failed to put a smile on my face. Whether it is simply our chapter meetings or a club party, I would always leave in a better mood. If it wasn’t for the sisters I have met, I wouldn't have found my home away from home.

Why aKDPhi? When I was rushing I asked sisters this same question. Everyone told me about the sisterhood, the insane connections, and overall fun they have experienced. But it’s easier to be felt than explained. This sisterhood gave me more than I could ever imagined. Our alumni, national and regional sisters, bigs, and line sisters have welcomed me into this sorority with open arms.

Why aKDPhi?

Whether it being meeting sisters from across the nation, career advice from alumni, or my line sisters pushing me to live life to the fullest, the amount of love I have experienced and feel towards this sorority is unmatched.

aKDPhi made this enormous campus a home for me.  So, if you want to know why aKDPhi? Ask yourself why not?

Beta Alpha - Fall 2017

Out of all the gifts this sisterhood has given me, I am especially grateful for the connections I

have made though aKDPhi. I feel so lucky to have some of the most selfless and caring people as my closest friends, and I feel even luckier to have connections outside of UT. Our sisters and brothers from OU made me feel so welcomed and showed me an amazing time both times I’ve visited their campus; I’m always looking forward to the next time I can see them again!

Why aKDPhi?

It’s heartwarming to know that I can rely on them, as well as sisters from all over the nation. The collection of memories I’ve been able to create due to the vastness of this network and the generosity of each sister means the world to me.

I am genuinely and infinitely grateful for how much more beautiful aKDPhi has made my life become.
